Zeynep Tufekci on "The Latest Privacy Debacle"

Zeynep Tufekci, who spoke on Big Data for the Ethics Center in 2015, is featured in today's New York Times on the Strava "heat map," which aggregates fitness tracking data (from things like FitBits) into a global map that shows where and how people have been exercising - and which also thereby probably revealed the location of a number of secret U.S. military installations, particularly in Africa.
