October 22, 2009"Right vs Right: Unexpected Ethical Dilemmas in Philanthropy"Michael Marsicano, PhD
President and CEO, Foundation for the Carolinas Goodwill philanthropic enterprises like foundations would not immediately come to mind as having ethical dilemmas because we tend to think of ethics in terms of right vs. wrong. While foundations are not immune from right vs. wrong dilemmas, they more frequently face choices between right vs. right. Michael Marsicano, President and CEO of Foundation For The Carolinas, will discuss unexpected ethical issues the Foundation has faced as well as a more expansive view of ethical dilemmas facing the greater charitable sector in our community.
